Gaunqiao Huang 's diary Week 01
This is my first individual diary, also it is the first week in this session.
In this week, after the first lecture of CSCI321, I realize that there are many things we need to do in this session, although there are much more in next session, this session is much important for make sure our project oriented.
As a leader, I got much stress in the group. My oral English is not very well, but I will try my best to lead this project. In order to have better communication in the group. We have three fix group meeting time in each week, and if necessary, we might meet in the weekend. We also use dropbox for sharing the work, so if there something new we will know.
My major is software engineering, and I am not familiar in the area of security. I didn't learn about hash function before because I haven't study CSCI262 and CSCI361. I need to spend much time to self learning hash function. My group mate is very friendly, and they help me a lot in hash learning.
I spend three hours to made this blog for our project. I choose blogger as the provider because blogger is famous blog provider in the world. And blogger service is belong to the Google. Thus it is much stable than other blog provider. What more, the theme, layout and the label of documentation is important in the blog, it determine the blog's attraction for the customer. After finished the blog, I invited the group mate to join in this blog so they can post their individual diaries or other information in this blog. We share the individual progress and problem much faster than without the blog.
I help the other group mate install the Software for the project planning which are Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project. These two tools are very useful in the project planning in next iteration.
